TREATMENT FUNDING
Some of our children cannot get the treatment they need and deserve through our own NHS – Instead they have to raise many hundreds of thousands of pounds to get treatment for their child in other countries.
What parent wouldn’t do everything in their power for their child?
Unfortunately, some of these children never get the treatment they need as their illness claims their lives before the funds are raised.
One of the aims of this campaign is to help and support other organisations to lobby for more resources within the UK to be committed to leading research projects including next generation drugs that will hopefully replace chemotherapy which was developed over 50 years ago. We will also assist in campaigns for the rights to access new technologies that are currently available around Europe and in the USA such as Proton Therapy so that we can make a contribution towards saving childrens’ lives NOW!
