The Captain Chemo website is an inter-active website created by a young patient at The Royal Marsden.
A comic strip created by a young patient at the Royal Marsden has been turned into an interactive computer game to help cancer patients worldwide.
The Adventures of Captain Chemo were created by Ben de Garis who died in July 1999, aged 18, having had treatment at The Royal Marsden Hospital since he was 13.
Ben, from Seaford in Sussex, originally drew the cartoon about Captain Chemo and his crew during his months of chemotherapy and radiotherapy for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
