HATS ON DAY – 5th May, 2010
Hats On Day was founded in 1995 by 4 sixth-graders in St. Louis, Missouri.
Be Child Cancer Aware want to replicate this idea to help our children here the UK and to raise awareness of Childhood Cancer.
We have designated 25th May, 2012 as our official Hats on Day.
Wear a hat to work or to school and make a small donation for doing so. You can have fun by creating and designing your own hats ; holding a competition; or just wearing your own hat in support.
Paying in your Fundraising Money
When you send us your Awareness Day/Fundraising money, you need to send us a copy of the Donation Form
All cheques or postal orders should be made payable to BE CHILD CANCER AWARE and should be forwarded to us as soon as you receive them, accompanied by a donation form. Do not send cash, even notes. If a sponsor gives you cash, pay it into your account and send us a cheque in your own name.
Do not open a separate account in the name of BE CHILD CANCER AWARE as this is illegal!
