‘The Beads of Courage mean so much to Allanya as they offer an explanation of her treatment in a fun manner. With her being so young, Its a great way of explaining what treatment she is having and in turn giving her a bead for her courage. She can treasure these beads forever as an acknowledgement of her Cancer journey’. March is such a special month for both her and us as a family. Its her 5th Birthday on March 31st and her treatment ends on March 28th so this is extra special.

This is Alfie. He’s 10years old and at the age of 5 he was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. He had 18 month is treatment and was given the all clear in 2009. Just before Christmas 2011 we found out that Alfie had relapsed. We’ve been collecting the courage beads since February 2012. Alfie is very proud of his courage beads, we love showing them to people. Makes it a lot easier for Alfie and all the tough treatment he’s been having.
